Ingredients

1 Ripe avocado, halved, pitted and peeled
1/3 cup (75 mL) Chipotle Salsa
4 Gardein Black Bean Burgers
1 Small red onion, sliced into rounds
4 Vegan hamburger buns, split and toasted

Step one

Mash avocado; stir together with Chipotle Salsa. Set aside.
Step two

Preheat grill to medium heat; grease grate well. Grill Gardein Black Bean Burgers for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until well marked and heated through.
Step three

Meanwhile, grill red onion rounds for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until well marked and tender.
Step four

Assemble Gardein Black Bean Burgers in buns with red onion rounds, avocado-chipotle salsa and arugula.
