- 1 lb (500 g) peeled sweet potatoes
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) canola oil
- 3/4 tsp (4 mL) salt, divided
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) pepper
- 1 jar (341 mL) VH® Caribbean Jerk Sauce or Pineapple Jerk

Step one
Preheat oven to 400˚F (200˚C). Cut potatoes into 3- x 1/2-inch (8 x 1 cm) sticks; toss with oil and 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt. Spread in single layer on 2 parchment paper–lined baking sheets.

Step two
Bake, turning once, for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and tender. Sprinkle with remaining salt and pepper. Serve with sauce for dipping.
Tips
To save time, use prepared frozen sweet potato fries baked according to package directions.
